This weekend was chock full of fun wonderful times.
We spent Saturday with everyone from my fathers side of the family, celebrating the life of my grandfather, who passed away a year ago on that day.
This is the back of his headstone. I am sure you notice the compass and the phrase “Enjoy each other.” As my grandfather was on his dying bed last year, he passed a note to my Aunt (he could not speak) that read “enjoy each other”. He passed away the next evening. Those three simple words sum up my family better than any big word can. We do enjoy each other. We are one of the closest knit families I have ever met. The compass represents the strength and bond of our family: north, south, east or west- your family always leads you home.
I shed some tears.
All of the cousins.
Most of the family.
We had a beautiful day. The weather was perfect. The sun shined down and kissed all of us on the face with love and hope.
Then we went to Ryan’s Buffett for lunch.
That event by itself was one of notable occurence. If you have never been to a Ryan’s… do yourself a favor.. go at least once in your life.
You will thank me later- and not for the good food.
But the food is outstanding as well.
Pregnant girl likes food.
Pregnant girl was hungary.
Pregnant girl ate.
A lot.
I might have shed a few years after I ate.
I’m not sure if it was because the food was so good… or because I’m 7 weeks pregnant and already having to unbutton my jeans.
Then came Sunday.. and my best friend Abby and myself took our boys (5 1/2 months apart) to the park.
They played..
And they played..
And they played…
Till their little hearts were content.
And then I saw this picture. And I cried.
Blame it on the hormones.
He looks so darn cute and grown up.
He looks so darn cute and little here!
Why do I do this to myself?
Waaahhh!
Send tissues, please.

What a great reminder: “Enjoy each other”. I love that.
Did not know you were expecting again: Congratulations!
I have been crying like that lately too… but I’m pretty sure I’m not pregnant!
